Empathy Day

Empathy Day at Sandwell Libraries – Tuesday 11 June. Sandwell libraries will be marking Empathy Day  Tuesday, 11 June. Empathy Day is the national day marking the importance of empathy in our communities, our homes and our public spaces.

Empathy Day events on Tuesday 11 June:

Glebefields Library, St Mark’s Road, Tipton – Come along for a cuppa, a biscuit and a chat with friends 1.30pm-3pm

Great Barr Library, Birmingham Road, Great Barr and Hamstead Library, Tanhouse Centre, Hamstead Road – Enjoy afternoon tea from 2pm-5pm.

Oldbury Library, Jack Judge House, Halesowen Street, Oldbury – All ages are invited to share their feelings on the ‘Empathy Wall’.

Thimblemill Library, Thimblemill Road, Smethwick – Empathy-themed story time for children three years and upwards from 4pm-5pm.

Tipton Library, Unity Walk, Tipton – Come along and have a cant and a colour, enjoy a chat and try out some relaxing colouring-in (adults)  from10am-12noon.
